I like the mochi with read bean paste. I know this isn’t exactly the same thing but baked beans are pretty sweet (sometimes even with maple syrup!).
Honestly the worst part about this isn’t the beans, it’s the generic doughnut mix they’re stuffed into. Could see this being pretty good if it was a nice brioche dough or something fancier and the beans made into a nice sweet paste.
